Hi Edee,

Thanks for your comments! We have a few birthdays to celebrate this month. Please note that some members may not want to have their full name listed on the web, so I have changed the name to initials only for the bday boy. Look forward to carving pumpkins w/ you on Halloween Party day. And yeah, kudos to Karreem for barbering!

Hi Hostess!
The October calendar looks great!

Please note that Yom Kippur begins at sundown on Wed. 10/8 and continues throughout the day of Thurs. 10/9, ending at sundown on that day.

Also please note that OCTOBER 16 is the birthday of MG, longtime Silver Spring DI Center member, so if you see him or talk to him around that time, be sure to wish him a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Many thanks to Karreem Ali for volunteering your services to so many people recently. I've seen you in action, & you're doing great, both with your clippers & with your 'chair-side manner'! :)

Have a great month everybody,
Edee Fay Schwartz
