Thursday September 4: Open 3 - 7 p FREE HAIRCUT CLINIC with Karreem Ali, 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. Enjoy a dry-haircut with newly licensed barber Karreem. Appointments on a first-come, first served basis. Meet in the back room past the kitchen. Small group to Heliport Gallery for art and potluck dinner after 7 p.

Saturday September 6: Open 12 - 5 p Field trip for those want to go to RFK Stadium Health Fair; Movie for others who stay in.

Monday September 8: Open 3 - 7 p Resources & Referrals 4 - 6 p If you need referrals to MANNA, help getting food stamps, benefits (SSI, SSDI, Medical Assistance, housing) make sure you come by.

Tuesday September 9: OFFSITE: Grant meeting at Mayorga 1 p Open 3 - 7 p Sarah Karney from NAMI Montgomery County will talk about NAMI programs and volunteer opportunities at 3:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served; RSVPs preferred but not required, 301.589.2303 X 108.

Wednesday September 10: Open 3 - 7 p Wii Games & Wii Fit. Pet Therapy: visit from the adorable, adoptable cats Sweetie Pie & Sugar Bear! 5 - 7 p

Saturday September 13: Open 12 - 5 p NAMI Connection Support Group, 3 - 4:30 p.

Sunday September 14: RSVP preferred deadline for Tuesday September 16 trip to DC's Mental Health Speak-out & Teach-In, 301.589.2303 X 108.

OFFSITE: Takoma Park Folk Festival. The Festival is held from 11 a to 6 p at Takoma Park Middle School, at 7611 Piney Branch Road, Takoma Park, MD. The event is FREE and family-friendly. More than 50 performers will be on seven stages, representing music and dance traditions from around the world. A complete schedule is at http://www.tpff.org/

Monday September 15: Open 3 - 7 p Create Your Own Smoothie! 4:30 p You will be washing and chopping fruit to blend in our blender, and of course you'll be sampling some yummy banana/strawberry/apple and whatever's on sale smoothies!
